Acer has just taken the wraps off its Iconia W4 8-inch tablet running on the brand new Windows 8.1 and the tablet comes with an improved display and a bunch of accessories. This tablet comes quickly after the W3, and Acer has learnt its lesson this time. Many have complained about the screen quality on the W3 but this tablet is using an IPS LCD panel with Zero Air Gap touch and wider, 170-degree viewing angles. In addition, the screen is better tailored for use outdoor and better outdoor visibility, but the resolution remains pretty average at 1280 x 800 pixels.
