Display and Build:

The iPhone 6+ (6 Plus) is Apple’s latest iPhone alongside the iPhone 6 which is the smaller version of this phone. The iPhone 6 Plus has a solid metal body with looks similar to the latest iPod Touch. The phone is very thin at 7.1mm and is one of the lightest flagships ever seen despite using a metal body. The display is a LED-backlit IPS LCD of (1920*1080) resolution and a size of 5.5 inches.

Specifications and Operating System

The phone uses Apple’s latest A8 chipset utilising a Dual Core ARM v8 based processor clocked at 1.4GHz and a hexa-core graphics processor. Storage is non expandable with 64GB flash storage coupled with 1GB RAM. The phone has multiple sensors like Accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass and barometer. The phone is powered by a 2915 mAh battery.

The iPhone 6 Plus has the latest iOS 8 OS from Apple which is a vast improvement over iOS7 and because it’s an Apple device you can easily expect support and latest updates till at least 24 months. One of the great features of iOS 8 are Apple Pay, Airdrop and custom keyboards.

Camera

The iPhone 6 Plus camera resolution hasn’t been bumped up and continues to stay at 8MP with autofocus with a better Sapphire lens and it is coupled with dual-LED flash. The camera can record slo-mo video at 240fps and Full HD video at 60fps. Other features include geo-tagging, simultaneous HD video and image recording, touch focus, face/smile detection and HDR (photo/panorama). The front camera is of 1.2MP resolution which can record videos at 720p.

Connectivity

The iPhone 6 has quad band GSM, 3G/HSDPA and LTE. It has Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth v4.0 .The phone also has support for TV out and USB OTG and USB Host. The phone also has Airdrop file sharing for transfers.
