The Gionee Elife E7
offers a stunning 5.0” Full HD (1920*1080) IPS display on a budget and premium
build. This is Gionee’s latest flagship in a plastic build.
Internal Specifications and Operating
System
Gionee has gone all out and has put in
the premium Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.2/2.5 GHz
depending on the market. The phone has 2GB RAM (3GB in the 32GB storage
model) with 16/32GB storage and which is non expandable. The device is
powered by a 2300 mah battery. The phone is well covered by necessary sensors
– an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
The phone has Android 4.2 Jellybean by
default and it can be upgraded to the latest Kitkat 4.4 via a future OTA.
Camera
The camera is a 16MP unit with LED
flash with features like HDR and panorama. It can record 1080p videos at
30fps. The front snapper is 8MP which can record 1080p at 30fps as well.
Connectivity
The Elife E7 has a host of connectivity options. The phone
supports quad-band GSM, 3G/HSDPA, Wifi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, A-GPS etc The
phone also supports USB on the go and USB host.

The Gionee Elife E7 is Gionee’s trump card in a market where most flagship
competitors which are low priced use MediaTek processors, Gionee has equipped
the premium Snapdragon 800 form Qualcomm which provides far better performance
and yet Gionee has managed to keep the price within reach of most buyers and it
is an exceptionally well built phone with great camera and performance.
