The Desire 616 is a
mid range phone of great build quality from HTC. The phone has decent screen
estate with a 5” HD (1280*720) Super
LCD2 Display which is nice to look at and is sharp at 294ppi and is very
bright.
Internal Specifications and Operating
System
The phone is runs on a Octacore
Mediatek chipset clocked at 1.6GHz and has 1GB RAM. The sensors included are an
accelerometer, proximity sensor and compass. The storage capacity of the
phone is 4GB which is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. The phone is
powered by a 2000mAh battery and has promising battery life.
The phone runs on Android 4.2.2 Jellybean and is skinned with HTC’s
custom Sense UI.
Camera
The Desire 616 has an 8MP autofocus
camera with LED flash capable of FullHD video recording and a front facing 2 MP
front camera for video calls and selfies. The rear camera features various
modes like face/smile detection and HDR.
Connectivity
The Desire 616 has support for quad-band GSM and dual band 3G.
It supports CDMA, HSDPA. It has Wifi, Bluetooth v4.0. The phone has dual-sim
connectivity with dual standby.

The Desire 616 is a great performer with the 8
