Display and Build: HTC One V is a basic small sized phone in an affordable package with quad core performance. It houses a 480p TFT display (800*480) measuring 3.7” diagonally. The display ppi is a decent 252ppi.
Internal Specifications and Operating System The phone is powered by a single core Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon chipset clocked at 1GHz and 512MB of RAM and 4GB storage expandable via a SD card up to 32GB. The sensors included are a accelerometer only. The phone houses a 1550mah battery.
The phone runs Android OS, v4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich), not upgradable to v4.1 (Jelly Bean) or any higher iteration of Android.
Camera The One V has a 5MP autofocus camera with flash capable of HD video (720p) recording and a front facing camera is nonexistent. The rear camera features various modes like face/smile detection and HDR.
Connectivity The One V has support for quad-band GSM and dual band 3G/HSDPA as well. It has Wifi, Bluetooth v4.0. , A-GPS and has FM Radio.
Review The One V is an affordable Android phone from HTC boasting of HTC’s premium quality and great fluid Sense UI on a budget with great features. The One V price is very low as the phone has become quite old since launch and offers only a single core processor. The phone was excellent for its time and has aged well.
