The Nexus 5 is
Google’s 5th phone in the Nexus lineup and features a beautiful
4.95” IPS display of 1080p (1920*1080) resolution is great to look at and is
one of the best displays seen in recent times. The phone is reasonably slim and
compact.
Internal Specifications and Operating
System
The phone is powered by one of
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz and 2GB RAM which is a
powerful combination. The phone has 16GB/32GB internal memory which is non
expandable. The phone is powered by a 2300mah
battery. In the sensors department an accelerometer,
gyro, proximity, compass and barometer are seen.
The Nexus 5 runs 4.4 Kitkat and is upgradeable to 4.4.4. An update to
Android L is coming soon.
Camera
The camera has an OIS camera with 8MP resolution photo capture with autofocus
and a LED flash. The phone is capable of 1080p video capture and the front
camera is a 1.3MP unit capable of 1080p video capture.
Connectivity
The Nexus 5 has quad band GSM and
3G/HSDPA. It has Wifi, GPS, Bluetooth v4.0 and FM Radio. The phone also has
support for TV out and USB OTG and USB Host.
