The Micromax Canvas 2
is yet another alter ego of the widely popular Canvas 2 available in a variety
of colours and has a new design. The display is a 5” HD (1280*720) IPS Display with 294ppi which is quite sharp.

The phone is runs on a Mediatek
Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 processor and 1GB RAM. The sensors included are a
accelerometer and proximity sensor. The storage capacity of the phone is 4GB
which is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. The phone is powered by 2000
mAh battery.
The phone runs on Google’s Android OS v4.2.2 Jellybean.
Camera
The camera unit is a standard 8MP camera with autofocus and LED flash with
features like smile detection and panorama. It can record 720p video and the front camera is a 2MP unit.

The Canvas 2 Colors is very youthful and a good phone
for those with a budget. The specs for the amount of money asked is not much
and has great value for money considering the hardware.
