The Micromax Unite is
a part of a new family of smartphones which Micromax has launched apart from
their Canvas line of smartphones for budget centric buyers. The phone has an
IPS capacitive panel that measures 4.0” diagonally and has a 480p (800*480p)
display.
Internal Specifications and Operating
System
The phone has a Snapdragon 200 quad-core
1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 processor coupled with 1GB ram. The phone has a 1500mah
battery which is enough for a phone of this size has 8GB storage expandable
via a microSD slot upto 32GB. The sensors included are a accelerometer and
proximity sensor.
The phone runs Google’s 4.3 Jellybean Android OS.
Camera
The Micromax Unite has a 5MP camera for
your photography needs that can record 720p videos @ 30fps and has a LED flash.
It has a VGA camera for selfies and video calls.
Connectivity
The Micromax Unite has Quad band GSM,
GPRS, EDGE, Dual band 3G with HSPA, dual SIM support with dual standby, GPS,
FM, Bluetooth v3.0, microUSB for charging and USB connections.
Final Words
The Micromax Unite is a budget centric device to connect all the people in this
country with support for most Indian languages out of the box which is a nice
touch for citizens not initiated to English to be able to use an Android with
ease with their native language. The quad-core performance that the Snapdragon
200 processor offers is pretty good as well.
