Display and Build: The Lumia 535 is a budget smartphone from the house of Microsoft and is one of the successors of the highest selling Windows phone the Lumia 520. The phone has a 5” IPS display of 960*540 resolution which is a good bump from the older gen 500 series Lumias and has received significant upgrades in the display technology and also the Gorilla Glass protection.

Internal Specifications and Operating System The Lumia 535 has a quad core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor coupled with 1 GB RAM. It has a proximity sensor and accelerometer. The phone has 8GB internal storage expandable via a micro SD slot supporting up to a whopping 128GB cards and the device is powered by a 1905 mAh battery. The specs are significantly better than the older gen Lumias of this range.
The 535 ships with Windows 8.1 out of the box and can be updated to Windows Phone 10 upon launch.
Camera The Lumia 535 houses a 5MP camera with autofocus and LED flash and the front camera is also the same, a 5MP unit. There is a lack of HD video recording but it may be added in a future update.
Connectivity The Nokia Lumia 535 has Quad band GSM, GPRS, EDGE, Dual band 3G with HSPA, A- GPS, GLONASS, FM, Bluetooth v4.0, microUSB for charging and USB connections.
Final Words The Lumia 535 is a great Windows phone and is no longer a part of the cheapest Windows phone series as a new entrant, the 400 series has taken place, nonetheless it costs almost the same as older gen 500 series Lumias and the specs upgrades are quite good and can be purchased without a doubt as the hardware is excellent and Windows OS has matured a lot.
