The Lumia 630 is a
great looking smartphone adhering to the design philosophy of Lumia smartphones
since their inception. The phone has a 4.5” beautiful ClearBlack IPS display of
854*480 resolution. The ClearBlack technology allows deep blacks and well
saturated colours.
Internal Specifications and Operating
System
The Lumia 630 has a Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 Qualcomm
Snapdragon 400 coupled with a less than adequate 512 MB RAM. It has a proximity sensor and
accelerometer. The phone has 8GB internal storage expandable via a micro SD
slot supporting upto 128GB cards and the devices is powered by a 1830 mAh
battery. It is available in a wide variety of colours.
The 630 is the first phone with Windows Phone 8.1 out of the box, the
OS has matured a lot after facing stiff competition from Android and iOS and
it is expected that the 630 will get further updates like most other Windows
Phones. There is a 7GB free Skydrive storage available to those who purchase
the phone.
Camera
The Lumia 630 houses a 5MP camera with
autofocus but unfortunately lacks flash and a secondary camera. The video
recording capabilities of the device is good at 720p HD recording at 30 fps.
Connectivity
The Nokia Lumia 630 has Quad band GSM,
GPRS, EDGE, Dual band 3G with HSPA, A- GPS, GLONASS, FM, Bluetooth v4.0,
microUSB for charging and USB connections. There is also dual SIM support included and it’s the first
Windows Phone with dual sim support.

The Lumia 630 is a great choice for those looking for affordable Windows
phones, it has a great display and is pleasing to look at. The only downside is
that the camera department doesn’t excel very well but overall it’s a great
device for people looking for a large-ish smartphone on a budget with dual sim
connectivity.
