The Galaxy Core Lite
is a budget quad core phone from Samsung.
The phone is very compact and looks and feels solidly built. The phone
up front has a TFT capacitive panel that measures 4.7” diagonally and has a
480p (800*480p) display with a ppi of 199. It is the successor to the popular
Galaxy Core.
Internal Specifications and Operating
System
The phone has a 1 GHz Cortex-A7
processor which is quad core coupled with 1GB ram. The phone has a 2000mah
battery which should make it last the day and has 8GB storage expandable via
a microSD slot upto 32GB. The sensors included are an accelerometer,
proximity sensor and compass.
The phone runs Google’s v4.3 (Jelly Bean) Android OS.
Camera
The Core Lite has a 5MP camera for your
photography needs that can record 720p videos @ 30fps and has a LED flash. It unfortunately
doesn’t have a front camera.
Connectivity
The Core Lite has Quad band GSM, GPRS,
EDGE, Dual band 3G with HSPA, GPS, FM, Bluetooth v3.0, microUSB for charging
and USB connections.
Final Words
The Galaxy Core Lite is an improvement in many ways to the original
Galaxy Core and offers stellar performance because of the quad core processor
built in. You can enjoy your content in a pretty large screen and the phone
looks great in white and is fashionable.
