The Samsung Galaxy S6 with an all new design that has been completely refined and has a classy metal wrapped body and is arguably one of the best looking phones Samsung has ever made. The display is a best in class Quad HD resolution display (2560*1440) with a screen estate of 5.1” and physical buttons including a fingerprint sensor. The phone is protected by Gorilla Glass 4.
Internal Specifications and Operating System The Samsung Galaxy S6 has the latest and greatest in hardware of 2015 from Samsung utilizing Samsung’s custom octa-core processor using Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2.1 GHz Cortex-A57. The phone has 3GB RAM with 16/32/64GB storage and cannot be expanded, which has left people with varied opinions as one of Android’s advantages over iOS devices is memory expandability. Samsung has upgraded on the last year’s camera unit. It can record 4K video as well as HD and Full HD videos. The front snapper is 5MP which can record 1080p at 30fps as well.
Connectivity The Samsung S6 has a host of connectivity options. The phone supports quad-band GSM, 3G/HSDPA, Wifi, Bluetooth v4.1, Beidou, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, ANT+ support and TV out. The phone also supports USB on the go and USB host.
Final Words The S6 is really stunning and looks absolutely amazing and is sure to sell a lot, which is a given for any Samsung flagship but this is a very good upgrade over the previous generation S series phones and has absolutely no drawback except the non expandable memory, it is absolutely rigid and feels premium thanks to its use of metal and still being so lightweight. It is truly a masterclass from Samsung.
