The Star Pro is a part of the Star lineup of phone from Samsung.  The phone is very compact and looks classy in white. The phone up front has a TFT capacitive panel that measures 4.0” diagonally and has a 480p (800*480p) display.

Internal Specifications and Operating System

The phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1 GHz Cortex-A5 processor which is single core coupled with 512MB ram. The phone has a 1500mah battery which is enough for a phone of this size has 4GB storage expandable via a microSD slot upto 32GB. The phone has only an accelerometer as a in the sensors department   The phone runs Google’s 4.1.2 Android Jellybean OS.

Camera

The phone has a basic camera of 2MP resolution of fixed focus nature, the camera doesn’t have flash and is not accompanied by a LED flash. The camera can take 240p videos and a front camera is nonexistent.

The Star Pro has Quad band GSM, GPRS, EDGE, Dual band 3G with HSPA, optional dual SIM support with dual standby, GPS, FM, Bluetooth v4.0, microUSB for charging and USB connections.

Final Words

The Star Pro is a cheaper alternative to the Galaxy S Duos and S Duos 2 with the main difference being a better camera in the mentioned devices. The phone has a decent screen and is a great purchase for people looking for a basic phone for communicating and using Android apps and not much else.
