The Trend Duos is a
budget dual sim phone from Samsung. The
phone is very compact and looks classy in white and looks similar to the S Duos
and S Duos 2. The phone up front has a TFT capacitive panel that measures 4.0”
diagonally and has a 480p (800*480p) display.
Internal Specifications and Operating
System
The phone has a Broadcom Dual-core 1.2
GHz Cortex-A9 processor coupled with 512MB ram. The phone has a 1500mah
battery which is enough for a phone of this size has 4GB storage expandable
via a microSD slot upto 64GB with 1.8GB user available storage. The sensors
included are a accelerometer, proximity sensor and compass.
The phone runs Google’s 4.1 Jellybean Android OS.
Camera
The Trend Duos has a 3MP primary camera without autofocus and flash
and can take decent quality videos. The front snapper is a VGA unit and is
useful in video calls.

The Samsung Trend Duos has Quad band
GSM, GPRS, EDGE, Dual band 3G with HSPA, dual SIM support with dual standby,
GPS, FM, Bluetooth v3.0, microUSB for charging and USB connections.
Final Words
The Trend Duos is a cheap alternative to the S
Duos 2 and the only glaring difference is the camera. The phone offers good
dual core performance and doesn’t lag at all performing normal tasks. It is a
great budget phone and a better phone can hardly be seen at this price point
from a reputable manufacturer.
