Display and Build:
The Spice M-6110 aims
to offer a low end touchscreen smartphone for just near 2000 INR. The phone
offers good features for a tiny budget. The phone is lightweight and doesn’t
feel cheap in the process. The phone has a 3” TFT display of 320x480
resolution.
Internal Specifications and Operating
System
The internal specifics are not clearly
mentioned by Spice but it has a SD slot to fit in your music and photos by up
to 16 GB. The internal storage is very limited and holds only SMS and
Phonebook data. It is recommended that one gets a SD card. The phone gets its
power from a 1000 mah battery.
The phone runs a custom JAVA based OS that has basic barebones apps
for communications and internet surfing.
Camera
The phone has a basic 1.3MP camera
without autofocus and a LED flash is not present. The phone cannot do video
calls due to the lack of a front camera. The camera can take MMS quality video.
Connectivity
The connectivity options are limited on
this handset and has only GPRS, EDGE and
Bluetooth to depend on. The phone has an inbuilt FM Radio with FM recording
enabled.
Final Words
A phone of this price is sure to be limited in terms of features but getting a
display of 4” size was literally unheard of just a few months ago and Spice has
done a great job of bringing a proper touchscreen phone to the low price points
and makes a decent alternative to non-touch based phones.
